I almost always take something away from your videos to help further my knowledge (which is very limited) and skills for camping. Today’s lesson blew my noodle! Thank you James. I had zero idea that fires could burn underground or under a forest floor. It made perfect sense when you pointed out that a fire could spread to the roots of an uprooted tree. Certainly a point to ponder and I’ll pack that away in my camping knowledge backpack.

If you camp there often. Why not take some of the trees down. Find cluster of trees together like a square. Make a wall around those tree's. Up at least 5ft tall. Then when you come back. There will be a semi shelter from the winds blowing across your area.

Great outdoor adventure, low profile. I would go with a fishnet (Camouflage) on top of the tent with leaves and tree trances. Great hide-out for survival.

When I'm up there in a vehicle I always get me aq milk crate full of those round stones. Hard to imagine the time factor wearing them down. The ocean is relentless. St Anne's Bay has plenty at the ferry crossing. Other areas as well. Good vid.
