I really like seeing a dog running free, no leash. My dogs don't really get it that I can't take them out anymore. But fortunately I have a large fenced in yard with a gate. So they can dig all the holes that they want to. And they can bark at the horses being ridden by, people, and people who are walking their own dogs. Squirrels beware. Love your videos, no talking, just camping. Thank you for what you do. ❤ And keep on doing it. And the dogs are just mutts, and sweethearts. All noise will no teeth. Yup

Love the channel! Just subbed. I really want to buy a hot tent/stove next year. I would be using it for car camping, so not backpacking it. Would like it to be a 3-4+ person sized tent with the stove jack. I would probably use it during the colder times of the year so I can make use of the stove. With this information, which tent and stove combo would you recommend? I have done extensive research and used your videos as a guide but just aren't sure what to get. I appreciate all the help!

Any preferences / pros /cons of this one vs your mong tent? Would not the tipi style be better for weight? I just pile snow on the tipi skirt first (pack the snow down ) then put in the pole. Never needed to use pegs with snow around.

Love your videos. I am curious, how come your tent doesn’t have an attached floor? The wind blows in all around the edges. Isn’t that cold? Even with the heater?
@danielsingh94152 жыл бұрын
It's the 3F UL Taiji 2, it has both a summer (mesh upper) & winter (little bit of mesh at the top) inner tent (I have both). But it comes with a ground sheet, and this is what we have here, ground sheet & outer fly, only, to make room for the stove, no need for bug protection. The ground sheet doesn't extend into the vestibule areas (both doors, both sides). One benefit with the Taiji 2 is the exterior pole semi-free standing system, so when it's raining, u set up the poles & attach the clips & ur done, except for staking out the vestibules & guying out extra lines if it's windy. The inner tent is suspended inside & won't get wet.

So glad Inspector Boomer is there to ensure that each banged in peg is up to par. You never know when you may end up doing a magic tent trip if it's not. How's Kendra and the wolf 🐺 cub bump? It's so cool that you regularly upload videos. And in such awesome places. Very relaxing though it looks kinda chilly. Granny Fox would hibernate in front of the stove. Does the stove warm up the inside of the tent? Brrr 🥶. Enjoy and cheers 🍻.

Why do you place the stove close to the edge of the tent? Russian school says that the stove must be so close to the centre of the tent as possible. Because the hight to the top of the tent must be maximum (tent doesn't over warm, fire safe etc), and wind cannot lean tent to the stove
@TarasLedkov2 жыл бұрын
What do you think about wooden stove + cloud peak 2. And rebuild cloud peak 2 to single layer tent (by sewing the full bottom to the top). Ps. For solo winter trekking applications. Pps. I try to rebuild cheap Chinese tent. It is OK in general but i'm not sure in it. It looks unreliable
