Great sound, I tried to play along but what key is your guitar tuned in ?
@stevedostal25765 күн бұрын
@@rchwha yeah that was inadvertent on my part. I accidentally made this vid with my guitar tuned up a half step and said as much in the description. No idea why but I realize that’s inconvenient. If you throw a capo on the first fret you should be good to go. Thanks for watching. Appreciate the feedback.

I'm in standard tuning, but why have you tuned up a semitone to G# ?
@stevedostal25762 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. I have no idea but that’s a MAJOR oversight on my part (in a tutorial no less). I must’ve been working on something at the time. Pretty embarrassing. I’m surprised that you’re the first to point that out. Sorry about that! Appreciate the comment.

@@stevedostal2576 It's ok, no probs, I thought it might have been some kind of weird reverse death metal thing where they normally tune down half a step but you did the opposite lol. I wondered because it just seemed a lot of effort when a capo would have done the job. I've just started doing the song myself but in E with a heavy muting hand on the bottom 3 strings for that percussive effect. I'm 72 but spent 45 years as a frontman lead vocals and multi instrumentalist in various heavy rock and blues/rock type bands so I kinda lean in that direction with most of the stuff I do, even if it doesn't really warrant it (old habits and all that). I'll probs nick a couple of your ideas though lol. Keep up the good work mate and all the best.
