Probably not much worse, especially in 2020 in comparison to these Formula E cars from two years ago, just because of how much the motors have been upgraded since.

People sayin that these cars are slow, well formula e is different from formula 1, the tracks are more enclosed and small, so its harder for the cars to reach top speed. Fastest recorded top speed of these cars is 174 mp/h. I wouldn't call that slow tbh.

I wouldn't be complaining. F1 is fuel saving and tire saving for the whole race. At least you can actually drive to the limit with Formula E

Yeah but if the limit is 250km/h, then it's still much lower than F1. And I agree, F1 needs to use all of the car's potential.

I compared the onboard recordings of Formula E to the Indycars, at least the sections that are identical. the curvy part between the right hander at the end of East Seaside Way and the hairpin takes ten seconds for both, there, the Indycar isn't quicker than the Formula E car. from thr hairpin to the start-finish-line, the Indycar takes nine seconds instead of eleven for a Formula E car. from there, the layouts split. they meet again at the corner entering Pine Ave. from there to the right hander at the convention center, the Indycar takes eight seconds, the Formula E car takes nine. From there to the right hander at the end of East Seaside Way the Indycar takes twelve seconds, the Formula E car takes thirteen. Summary: of course, on the straights, the speed difference is approximately ten to fifteen percent, but it is NOT a completely different world. the speed through corners is identical. don't let Your ears confuse You, a Formula E car is faster than a WTCC touring car.

They put battery as percentage because everyone has a 28kwh limit. Nothing to do with the speed
