Mystic 1, 2, and Beast kind of make sense to be the Potential Unlock equivalent of the Super Sayian forms in this sort of canon. Mystic being Super Sayian, Mystic 2 Being Super Sayian 2, and Beast being Super Sayian 3 since it got that long spiky hair.

This is theoretically possible. Given Shenlong said the same thing about unlocking Piccolo's potential plus a little extra as Elder Kaioshin said about Gohan in the same circumstance, Gohan may very well have had Beast within him as far back as the Boo arc but just never underwent the right conditions to access it. Boo arc Beast Gohan would have been really interesting narratively, both in how it would have changed Gohan's character arc and how it would have changed future events.

For me, this form should have appeared in the Tournament of Power, as an unlimited mystic, rivaling a kefla that would have powers of 2.5 ssj god I wanted Piccolo in a way that he uses maankosappo's aura
