Man, I listen to this and it’s 1972 and I’m cruising in my 1965 Mustang after high school was over for the week. Good times.

1975 I was 14 crushing around the lake with my girlfriend' driving my 1970 GTO listening to this song on my Craig 8 track player through a small set of Jensen speakers up on behind the rear seat....her up next to me straddling the 4 speed shifter....me using the clutch while she was swapping gears. She always wanted to speed shift.... sometimes it'd work out but most of the time we were grinding the gears until we tore the transmission out that night and had to walk 8 miles home at 3:00am in the morning....took us to a little after 9am that morning to get home because she was wearing a cast on her right broken leg from wrecking her motorcycle 2 weeks before. Her parents had been out partying all night and hadn't made it home yet..... some of the neighbors had saw us walking and wouldn't give us a ride but told her parents on us which we denied and her parents believed us.... Well if that was true why wouldn't they give us a ride' her parents agreed and that was the end of it. FFwd's to 1978 we'd take the GTO to local drag races' Teresa had gotten really good at speed shifting and would would out run everyone she ran against. August 6 1960- January 11 2023. RIP Teresa.
