Better to watch than most of the 4wd commercials that ask you to buy stuffs that you don't really need.

Thank you for these tips! I am not a professional driver like you, but I am planning a big trip with my 9 year old (Sydney-Perth return) this video gave me lots of useful things. Very refreshing to see a video like this and not a commercial to buy BS stuff Thanks for sharing your knowledge greatly appreciated

You're very welcome. Glad to know it helped you. Goodluck with your trip. It sounds like an amzing trip. Nullarbour crossing is cool. There's a servo along the way to top up fuel.

Like the Rubber ball for your back, and the UV sleeve. Also useful in Spain. Only been to Oz once but dis get a burnt arm😂. For me, the deal breaker is cruise Control. I really need it for long journeys, so some cars I've liked were ruled out

I looked at getting a plug in cruise control from ebay at some stage for the truck that didn't have it but never got to it.

Now that's a different video...👍 But very good tips on long distance driving. I like you am a truck driver and do very similar trips. Based on the Gold Coast, my trips are to Rockhampton, Emerald, out to Longreach and far North QLD. Also to many trips down to Nsw, but have cut them out due to Covid. A lot of my days can be 12 to 16 hours but only up to 3 days in a row..... I too have learnt the tricks to stay fresh and alert. Well done to explain it....

Cheers mate. I used to go anywhere from Port Douglas all the way down the east coast to VIC, Adelaide to Port Lincoln, Streaky Bay and Perth once, Mt Isa, Broken Hill, mining sites. Omg I dont know how I did it lol. Used to go to SA from Brisbane every fortnight. Back to my IT gig now.

yeah nah, any car with torque vectoring, traction control, you can use cruise in the wet, just set it lower to a lower speed than you usually would.

Don't know about new cars. I'm old school 😂. Thanks for the info might mention that on a future video for people who drive those cars.
