Just to add, Engine RPM to maintain in a particular gear also depends upon type of engine, load in car, AC working or not, road conditions & gradient. The engine starts to lug at low RPM in higher gear if the speed is below the minimum speed of that particular gear. Also in a turbo charged engine, where the turbo spools up only after 2000 RPM, the overall power from the engine can't be extracted at 1500 RPM. So to sum it up, you need to find the sweet spot for your car where it feels most smooth to run to extract maximum fuel efficiency. Below are a few additional tips: 1.Avoid excessive acceleration and sudden braking. 2.Switch off the engine on the red light. 3. Keep your car free from unnecessary items to keep it light. 4. Use Google maps to know the best route. 5. Start your long journey in the early morning to avoid city traffic. 6. Use AC instead of windows open at high speed.

मेरी एक query हैं जिसका जवाब मुझे कोई you ट्यूब video मे नही मील रहा हैं. मेरे pass exter AMT गाडी हैं जब hill पे जाते वक्त move and stop बहुत होता हैं ट्राफिक जादा होने के कारण तो clutch गरम ना होने के लिये क्या किया जाय. User mannual मे लिखा हैं गाडी side मे ले के ब्रेक apply करो engine चालू कंडिशन मे.मतलब गाडी creep मे ज्यादा मत चलाओ. मैं कुछ समझा नही engine क्यो चालू रखना एक important query AMT मे brake लगानेसे clutch disengage होता हैं क्या प्लीज इसका जवाब जरूर देना धन्यवाद
