That was pretty darn slick how you popped the pipe out of the driveway with the grader without breaking the pipe. Also good to see Justin because you know there will be laughing involved.

@@tobinbarrette1141 because it's just a piece of pvc pipe he used for the siphon to drain the pond so they could clean out the sandbar. The pipe would never stand up for long with traffic running over since it's just a piece of pipe you use for plumbing. It'd have broken and made a huge dip in the road anyway. Chris fixed it. Can't even tell where the pipe was now that he graded the driveway with the grader and then packed it in with the roller packer.

Yes it is. I ran 1 for the county for a year but is was crazy when my boss would get on it after he ran it for 20 years. He could do things on that sucker that was great

Hi Chris,,nice to see some job prep and 'stinky diesel gloves'. I enjoy driving on a freshly graded, compacted gravel drive - even my own [when I do it]. One more display of great workmanship and dump truck branch trimming. I have an S curve in my driveway- but NO Semis are allowed in the yard - I like my trees - getting up leaves not so much.

Thank you for having an auto-shutoff nozzle that works. I've seen a lot of spilled diesel because people are too cheap to replace their broken nozzles. Thumbs up btw, I love your videos. Makes me miss being a heavy equipment tech.

I don't think his heart is in it. He has 56 videos but still only 1.29k subscribers, which is pants considering he is one of Chris's best friends from way back. Just was on the team with Chris when they won that Discovery Channel 'Machines of Glory', and I think they left the other teams seriously miffed because the combined age of the three team members must have been under 50, which is a third of the ages of the other teams. Its cool to see these machines work. I was driving down the highway one day and seen some people doing road work and they had these badass giant flamethrower truck things. The entire bottom was a big fire it looked really cool.

Our county road grader operators go through a monthly routine of dragging the roads with minimal cut which just allows persistent potholes and ripples in the road. The reasoning is that it would sacrifice too many grader blades to do it right so the sacrifice is on everyone's vehicles suspension systems. Your grader footage is excellent!

It appears to me that running a grader is much like running an excavator (or any other piece of equipment). It's an art and a valuable skill. If I tried to do what you did in this video it would have taken me at least twice as long and I probably would have created a bigger mess. I'll stick to my little box blade to do the roads on my property. Having said that I enjoy and look forward to watching your videos every day.

I saw the reports of the Ever Given in the Suez Canal needing to be dug out and my very first thought was they should hire you to do it. 😅 Of course there are plenty of folk who are masterful excavators, it is just that you have become synonymous with them in my mind.

I run a Car 24M. That little grader looks fun to run. I just got done spreading 150,000 tons of gravel on a night shift. Quite challenging in the dark. Wish I could share, but not allowed.

trick to spreading is to be moving when you open the tailgate,coming from someone who started spreading gravel for my dad at 11 yr old with twin stick hydraulic box control and rope pull tailgate handle 5 yd box.

On a positive note, that winding road around trees will be a PLUS against anybody trying to drive in or out real fast. i.e. Home Invader flees after activating Ring Cameras, and drives into a tree. Winner Winner, Cops got a Burglar!
