This is one of my favourite aspects of landscape photography. I've many an image in my collection to testify this, it really slows you down literally no pun intended to think about the elements I leave in the scene and objects I leave out. In my opinion the more minimalist your image the better it is for very long exposures. I think these days It's not as popular as it once was but I still love the surprise as the image pops up on the camera screen. The colours you can achieve with very long exposures are a real treat to behold and those skies on a windy day I just love.
The more I do these videos the more I would like some feedback good or bad. I'm a bit unnatural in front of the camera (I can see it and it's a little frustrating) and therefore not been my natural self at the moment but trying to get to that point where you see my true character but obviously comes with practise and what does practise make...... hopefully. I hope you enjoy this any way and please leave a comment. Best wishes Stuart
