Lovely meeting you both this evening at Baglan. This is the waterfall I was telling you about where my friend fell in. it's dangerous when it's in flood.

Great to see some of our local photographers out vlogging. Apart from Gareth we don't tend to see our area covered much. Great that you're doing it. My Mrs keeps encouraging me to have a go but I don't think she (or even I) realise just how much work is involved. Lovely images as well, David, as always. Always follow your work and draw a lot of inspiration from your portfolios. Proper quality stuff. Very much looking forward to the next video.

As you said at 3:00 *cracking* ... a good old Valley's expression butty. 🙂 Super to see you out & about and putting your slant on landscape photography. As we still haven't managed a day out it was great to see you in action and talking us through your methodology, I like many others have admire your work and now we get to see the man with cam doing it - I was surprised after your daily walking local videos wth Sue that you took so long to produce a you tube video. Tut, dare you say.. it's very David Pearce (don't know the other guy?) Love Jayne's initial speaking part part to the video, that's nice Dave, you are not as dull as you look, classic !! Stunning set of images - very enjoyable. atb Al

I bet that trading in a D850 for the mirrorless @8:05 was an expensive way to save 330 g weight! And the FTZ adaptor would put 135 g back again. Nice shots anyway.

I came across this video unexpectedly but enjoyed sitting for the twenty minutes or so it took to watch it. The images are superb. I haven't dabbled with long exposure/water for a while - but having watched this I feel inspired to get those filters out again and get stuck in. Many thanks for sharing.

Belter! Keep em coming David, Z7 is a great camera! Interested in the 24-200 myself. Forget all the gear tho. The photographer makes the difference and you’ve proven that. Cracking images!! Inspirational and given me some ideas. We have had a very dry spring and many of my local falls have depleted but some recent rain has improved things. On a negative, I did find the first half a bit long winded. Aside from filters, I'm not interested in your camera gear. I've been a photographer for 50 odd years so know what's been available and what's cutting edge and I'm not about to go and replace all my gear. You could spend more video time on the mundane stuff. Example: I use min-crampons on my wellies for wading through slippery stream beds as many of my local falls only have access via the stream bed. I also use a waterproof rucksack in preference to your conventional custom photo gear backpack and depend on padded lens cases etc for gear protection. Your panorama software techniques would also be of interest. On a positive, a well shot and presented video with very good sound. So I have subscribed. Thank you for your efforts and I hope my criticisms don't discourage you.

Thank you berny appreciate the input mate, you have a point about equipment when I used film it was a Olympus om1n and bronica etrs and that was it. Today cameras and lenses are moving fast, some less experienced photographers are interested in equipment. I’ll get the balance right I promised. Thanks for watching and importantly commenting
