I think this is my first comment on your channel. I find this gel works great, too, so long as I have a good leave-in or cream underneath and scrunch it in to soaking wet hair right after I shower. Great, thorough review!

The SM High Porosity gel gives your hair the same dryness like feeling when your applying it. I was so disappointed the first time I tried it. Thankfully my hair never ends up being overly dry and i can always get a few days out of it.

Gena this was actually hard to find. I ordered from Poshmark. I found that he product left my hair a bit dull. Yes I used my curling cream etc with it. Your hair looked very shiny.

I’m beyond disappointed n so upset n soo confused!! Gina Diva please help! I did olaplex bonding n wow I was in love with my hair all over again!! Then a week later I did the Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil strengthen n restore masque n my hair is ruined!! I’m watching your videos n try to figure out what to do right now!! I’m so pissed every one is so turnt up about this masque n my hair is a mess! So frizzy lost all the curl 😢I was sooo happy with my hair I felt so sexy n now I’m crying!! What do I do anyone??

Yeah I didn't notice flakes! It's tough because I love them both! I think the Dippity Do is better for easy use and great results day 1. I would say this Shea Moisture one is great for when I want my style to hold up for days during busy weeks! However it's tough to wear it out on day 1 because it's so much hold.

Hey girl! Do you have any issues using the Cantu during summer?? I believe it has glycerin in it. Do you worry about glycerin in your products? Any suggestions on products without it? Thanks 😃

I have tried using the Cantu cream and it doesn’t have enough hold during the summer. I’ve been using the Ouidad Climate Control Stronger Hold Gel in the summer and it does ok. Still haven’t found the perfect one that holds up in humidity.

Ok great. I’m in the same boat! I have very similar hair to your yours except mine is thick instead of fine! The regular ouidad is good too and it doesn’t have glycerin like the strong hold! Which is crazy to me but 🤷🏽‍♀️
