I just had my hairdresser do this cut for me. After years of traditional layered cuts in my wavy hair that never turned out quite right, this cut did wonders. My hair looks curlier and fuller. It has great movement and my hairdresser had fun doing it! Thank you for sharing!

Would you still use those thinning techniques like the twist and brick cuts if you don’t need to remove weight or would you still use them but not as much so you can define curl patterns?

That was a good watch. Loved this technique. Mousse definitely works better in wet hair for my curls. Not to over dry in a towel, 10- 15 seconds that's all. Then apply the mousse. It helps the curl absorb it better before the ingredients go dry on the hair. You get a much better glossy curl that feels great!
