@@jamisedenari2449 firstly its dhamma nor dharma, both are different, dharma is later manifestation of buddhist dhamma according to their needs. Secondly Dalai lama belongs to mahayana sect which was made after many years of buddha , the original ideas are of hinayana, both are different in approach so why importance to mahayana way when the original is discarded. Buddha never told to worship him or idols, its the later manifestations, but why to glorify persons and not his ways, its showmanship.

@@etdiabolus5806 you must be Theravadan.... That explains it. Thereavadan is a completely different system than Mahayana . And damma and dharma are the same with the latter like you said coming much later. But this is Mahayana. No one worships the dalai lama, however he is looked at by many as an emanation of avalokiteshvahara on earth. He is the tibetan Buddhist leader so, most tibetans look to him for guidance and give long life offerings to him so he can continue practicing and teaching the dharma for all beings.

@@jamisedenari2449 exactly, you should know why mahayana was created and why tye later Buddhism sects which parted way from earliest Buddhism has influence of Brahamanism. The money and power corrupted Buddhism in later times thats the reason people suffer, Buddha never talked about avlokiteshawara, the term came to exist long after buddha when it was influenced by others and corruption. I mean no disrespect to you but its common sense, its less like Buddhism more like brahamanism.

Buddhism has many schools due to many masters who developed different ways of teaching, and yes some have adopted other things from other traditions but at its core it is still Buddhism, still dharma. Just because it isn't the Hinata way of thought doesn't mean it isn't Buddhism.
