Long Lost Friends Week at Disneyland

For the limited time magic, Disneyland brought out these rare characters for one week only. I think I have a crush on Mulan. And I also have to thank Andrew Ducote for letting me join him when he and Hali met Peter and Wendy.

I like mulan better when she wears her warrior clothes or just the normal clothes she wears at the end of the movie. Why do they so often dress her in her matchmaker clothes with all that makeup? I thought that she didn't like herself that way and that is not how she would normally dress

It’s a pretty costume but I agree it’s not accurate to her as a person and she looks way cooler in the warrior outfit Disney has a lot of princess in pretty dresses already but Mulan is a great example for girls that you don’t have to be super feminine to be a woman

She did. She just wore it cuz she wad on the army and that how we relate to her MOST of the time since the majority of the movie she was in the army. But it was implied she likes make up and looking pretty but she wanted osmwone to love her and see her passed all that.

I love how Meeko ran for that guys treats that he had for him. That reminds me of what happened to me nearly twenty years ago at my make-a-wish trip wich was at Disney World. We were eating breakfast at I think it was called The Kid's Village. Anyway my older sister and I were with our parents, our aunt and my nurse.(I was very sick back then.) We were greeted by Meeko and just as he was leaving to visit someone else, he tried to eat our breakfast. The best part was that we caught him on video. So now the next time we see him and we talk about it we'll tell him that he can't denie it because we taped him doing it.

At around 10 minutes, that other couple that was meeting Peter and Wendy used to be character performers at Disneyland themselves. They were friends with Peter and Wendy and "Spieling Peter" was his nickname

I've been to WDW 3 times. In 1995, I remember in the England pavilion at EPCOT, a few characters were around. I met the Pooh gang, while my brother took pictures with Friar Tuck and then Robin Hood and Maid Marian. He had a huge smile on his face when sandwiched between Robin and Marian. Shame they don't give the "long lost friends" more park time.
