On one hand, I’m disappointed that Tiana doesn’t have that many variations in her costume, even for special events. But, on the other hand, that feels extremely in character, she seems like the kind of person to be like “ok, I have *one* dress for formal occasions, thats all I need”, even if she has access to lord knows how much money.

This, and I also feel like her cosutumes have a lot more personality even if they are limited; not to say the other princesses costumes aren't bomb too but idk they feel more 'ooh shiny' and less 'what would she want to wear personally' (except Mulan I think her stuff is on brand and cultural)

The Princess and the Frog is quickly becoming one of my absolute favs. When we decided to name our daughter Charlotte the first thing one of my friends said was that she would look like Charlotte from the movie, and she completely does. She even does a fantastic southern accent. When Charlotte met Tiana when she was three Tiana commented on how Charlotte was her best friend's name and our Charlotte lit up like a Christmas tree. It's one of my favorite memories of her first trip to WDW. She wasn't officially named after that movie, but we like to pretend she was. We absolutely need a Tiana restaurant in the parks or at a resort.

I'm glad to see Tiana getting new outfits in the parks. I know when she first appeared on Disney Princess merchandise, they always kept using the same image of her and not really getting her new outfits. I hope they can work on doing that too but it's nice to see them in the parks. Kind of makes me want to cosplay Tiana now but idk how people would feel about that.

🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸 Great video, Dan! I love all these Tiana and Naveen and Louis and Dr. Faciller costumes, but the Ray and Mama Odie costumes are awful. Also, I see all of those Kermit plushies. I love Kermit [and frogs in general, they are so cute], and his scrunch face is hilarious. A Domino's Pizza costume evolution with The Noid, Donny Domino, and Danny Domino [who is human unlike Donny who is a sentient domino]. Donny Domino has had a few costumes, with some of the modern ones looking awful and bland, but his design in the 90s is my favorite. He had a girlfriend named Dottie Domino, who appeared in some 1994 ads, and the characters designs look VERY similar to Will Vinton's work. Dottie's eyes are very similar to the female M&Ms eyes, and there are Donny and Dottie posters on Worthpoint, with Dottie's poster having a bird that is EXACTLY Will Vinton style. Sadly, there's very little information on Donny and Dottie, though it would make sense if Will Vinton Studios was involved in their designs and commercials, given that they were also responsible for The Noid.

So there's actually some misinformation here as that isn't Tiana's new dress. The one shown in the video is exclusive to Disneyland Paris' hotel dining. Tiana's new dress is very similar to her old dress but with some slight changes to the materials and colours. It did debut at Hong Kong Disneyland and can be seen in every park now.
