Thank you dear friend to show us Oranjestad and its different kinds of Munuments!! Beautiful Colonial Architecture indeed! We saw some blue horses somewhere...what do they mean there?? There were lots of iguanas on the rocks too! Imagine my daughter who is very fan of animals. She told us when we had the chance to go there, she would go straight to the rocks to touch one🤣😂🤣Do you think she will be lucky?????. We'll be waiting for more videos Hyro!! Take care of yourself! Hello my friends, so yes the blue horses reflect an era when our harbor facilitated horse trade that dates back to the early days of Spanish colonization of Aruba. From there also comes the name Paardenbaai Dutch name for Horse Bay (Bahia de los Caballos?). You can learn more at www.paardenbaai.com As far as the iguanas they are almost always there at those stones. Try to be careful, they can bite! Some hotels have many of them too! Is this Casino still open and operating? I know there is a Wind Creek Crystal Casino across the street next to Renaissance so did it move and was renamed? Thank you so much.

I saw buildings that i have pass by and didn't know nothing about....And memories...when i saw you in the store district..i was thinking .. when we were eating at the baby back grill..which is near that..if i am correct... We walked the same area last July found a great pastechi stand in town they were home made delicious. Dont remember the name.Been going to Aruba since the 1980's. We won a house way back in 1994 from the Royal Cabana Casino . The house is 66 Jucurri a half a mile from the airport. We sold it in 1998 . We try to get to Aruba every year we love the island and it's people.We love all your videos great job.Happy Easter !

Happy Easter! I will assume it may be the Pastechi House which is a bit past the Aldo Shoes? The Royal Cabana Casino was very popular but sadly (quickly)came to an end. Didn't recall they had a house for a prize, wow lucky you! Glad you like the videos!

@@LetsgowithHyro yes Mansur gave away five homes and five condominiums. If you won a 1000.00 dollars or more they handed you a raffle ticket and made the drawing two months later. My wife and I stayed in the the house when we got married in 1996 for two weeks.

Una mañana salí junto a la familia a caminar por esas calles desde Chilestraat y vimos ese ese edificio abandonado y observo que aún está, restaurado debe ser hermoso visto desde su infraestructura. Nosotros cenamos en una oportunidad en ese KFC, en verdad estaba alejado del concurrir de los turistas, tenía poca afluencia de clientes, pero disfrutamos de sus instalaciones. Qué día salisteis que todo estaba solooooo? Quizás un domingo? Excelente vídeo. Disfrute mucho el recorrido.

Thank you Brandy, so kind of you :-) Bali Restaurant I believe partially burned and wasn't doing all that good at the time so it was decided to close and remove it instead of rebuild. To this day it is remains in the heart of all Arubans who at some point had the pleasure to eat there!
