if AI doesn't find progress to justify the massive spending, there will be a day of reckoning for nvidia's stock price and likely soon. The attention/transformer is 10 years old and never fully works and no replacement is spoken about. nvidia's earnings has 10x due to this frenzy and nvidia's enterprise overprizing. it is exceedingly hard to imagine they will deliver on the implied 10x increase from these elevated levels unless there is a massive breakthrough soon. I am the father of deep learning and I can tell you that current AI is not close to the real deal.

There's a bigger bear case. It's not concentration of customers, it's lack of end users on the other side AND it's concentration of supply from a company that's based in Taiwan and subject to any aggressive move that China may make in the future. There's a lot of risk in a high flyer like this that comprises a huge percentage of the indexes.

Dude it’s a long term buy - this had to happen sometime or some day. NVIDIA is still a good buy in my opinion and we will see good things coming in, but, having said that there won’t be CRAZY amount of returns coz AI competition is heating up and also I feel that the revenue coming out of AI investment has been only applicable to some companies, so, I really don’t know if we should keep on creating hype around this AI thing anymore. Let us see how things take place with MAGS on overall basis when it comes to AI

“Concentration of customers” may be true at the moment. However, listen to the small startup American companies that want to make autonomous drones for infrastructure inspections to provide non-Chinese alternative. The drone used NVDA chips and PLTR AI for extended capabilities. All these self driving cars around the world will also use NVDA tech, not just the ‘chips’. The story is a little more complicated than simple chip cycle. But Bears make the market, and may be right for a period of time. Doesn’t change the story for the next 10 yrs.

Upcoming week Nvda is pushing out of trend. Few events AI Summit, MICCAI and Grace hopper all different events between 10/06-10/11. That’s why we are already seeing a push to break the bearish trend. Not to mention earnings is already next month

The biggest red flag for me on NVDA is the 20+ joint ventures they have gone in on that bought NVDA AI chips on collateral. That kind of behavior is reminiscent of 2k bubble. So, yes, the current economy/wall st environment is different from y2k, some of the behavior NVDA is engaging in is likely overinflating demand which allows them to increase the price for these chips. Best case scenario is that spending on these chips from the likes of META/MSFT levels off to a more sustainable rate and then the whole AI theme doesn't have to crash. Until then, NVDA goes higher.
