Long overdue Homestead update: First-year homesteaders

Hello and welcome to Down Home with the Coonradt Clan!
We are not your typical American family. We don't sit around all day playing video games and watching TV, although we love ourselves a good episode of "Little House on the Prairie." :) We love to play and work outside and do not mind getting sweaty and dirty from caring for our land and animals. We are slowly trying to become more reliant fully (well, mostly reliant) on our land. We know this process takes time, hard work, and patience, but it is a journey we are excited about! Although our goal and passion is homesteading, we are even more passionate about sharing Jesus with others. We are far from perfect, but we know we serve a perfect and Holy God. All our homesteading is done for His glory, and we know whether we have a good harvest or a bad harvest, He deserves the glory, honor, and praise.
