I wish I could finish one layout, let a mind several. The small one on its end that you tried to sell on eBay was on my wish list, but collecting was going to mean a very long journey. Looking forward to seeing more updates.

Cool update. You can never have too many layouts on the go!!! You'll find it hard to go back once you start with Kato it's excellent. Great points if you don't like wiring like me. The controllers are also superb. With a bit of work Kato track can be made to look quite realistic if you 'feather' the edges of the roadbed with Kato loose ballast. I've used it on lots of my projects. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

It was your video from years ago where you used the super tight kato track curves to make your boxfile layout that got me interested. I do wish that Peco would make a curve with a tighter radius than they do because plenty of the smaller locos will happily go round a tighter radius than the make and trying to bend flexitrack too much is so tricky.

@@NgaugeShelfLayouts Agreed flexitrack is a devil for really tight curves. My box files use the 117mm radius curves but you might be able to use the 150mm radius instead on your noticeboard, most of my stuff will go round the 150 but all my bigger locos are diesels which benefit from the bogies. If you could squeeze an inner and outer loop on that size board it would be epic!.......Gauntlet thrown down😉

In N the windows are a nightmare. It seems impossible to me at first but practice means I can now cut them pretty perfectly. A sharp scalpel is required. One of my older videos shows my technique for cutting the windows.

How tricky are the windows on Scalescenes buildings? I downloaded the 70s house in N scale and cutting all the frames looks like a nightmare. I plan to make at least 4 of this kit and I am not very excited by the prospect lol
