Hey I heard from a sportsman warehouse guy that they will be making this gun not Legal anymore and this year will be the last year for it? Can you confirm this or was this guys just full of it?

Full of it, not sure how a black powder rifle would become illegal.

Really depends on you and distance you plan on shooting at.
