It was one of those Hail Mary shots. We couldn’t believe he hit it either and the fact that it was the first and only shot at that distance makes it even more unbelievable.

HOWA is sending me a carbon fiber barreled 1500 in 6.5 PRC to replace a 270 that was defective. I already bought a replacement and was going to sell it to the gun shop to pay for the Tikka I bought. Now, why did you have to go and show me this and make me reconsider?

1285 yards according to our rangefinder. Verified when he adjusted for that distance and made the hit. One of the best shots I’ve ever witnessed and was honestly something that involved a whole lot of skill added with the same amount of luck.
