I don't think your antenna is broken, I think you're looking at the pole of it on your way out, and a lobe on your way back. Try mounting your antenna so it points straight up when your camera is horizontal. You'll get better all-around coverage that way. edit: So like 90* to your camera, pointed up

Yeh antenna null is pointed at you on the way out. The antenna should be pointed straight up when the quad is flying forward. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5fXmp2FishloK8

What power level were you using on the TBS? 800mw? I’m going to put together a flying mile quad and I’m deciding what to use for a vtx. I’m severely limited on space and have been leaning towards a TrampHV. I’m not sure if 600mw will be enough though. Also, what did you use for video antennas on your ground station?

maplechill fpv yea I used 800mw but it was a 5v unify so maybe my 5v reg wasn’t giving it enough juice? Idk. Anyway I have a tramp and works great. 600mw should be plenty with a good patch antenna on your rx module. I used 2 tbs patches on my clear view

FPV Dreamz the braces are there for added strength in crashes. But for speed it’s only drag. So literally by removing the braces I gained 5-8mph top speed

Your quad is blocking your video signal when it's pitched forward. Hence the better video on the return.

You should add .3 sec to the run for the 30 feet of road. If you do the math 30ft is 5.6% off the distance of a mile. So add 5.6% of his total time.

sounds like yawstuff. please check out the yawthorized pilots. we welcome yawl. quick tip . try to find a gate . this could be to trees or a gap of some sort. find a actual circuit. with this pursuit and the availability for others to try your circuit makes u yawthorized. great pursuit sir. can u link the leaderboard?
