It's odd the video just stopped after she was turned to the mirror. I think she was so unhappy and couldn't believe her eyes, she probably lost it at that point, hence why the video abruptly stopped. I can't say I blame her, wrong haircut for her age and type of hair, which will take forever to grow back from all of those razored , short mismatched cuts. This was not a good haircut for her age, type of hair and other factors.

Well she requested a huge change and she certainly got one. She looked pretty nervous as all that long blonde hair was getting cut off, wonder if she realized what she was really asking for. She looks ok, but I think the long hair was just fine.

First I've been styling hair before you were even thought of and go to refresh courses every year since just to keep up with the styles and I have never ever seen anyone not even the best start cutting from the top and finish from the bottom of the head. If you are cutting long to short you are to section the hair off then start cutting not chopping. Do not use a razor if hair is fine like hers.

Look sweetheart, I'm a hairdresser too, a male hairdresser (who most likely has way more clients than you'll ever have!) and if you were such a wonderful and knowledgeable hairdresser yourself, then you would know that cutting hair from the top down is a perfectly valid way of cutting hair and is what is known as French haircutting. And guess what--in French haircutting, the hair is not clipped and sectioned! Feel free to look it up in case you don't believe me. In fact, French haircutting is the method favored by an extremely well-known figure in the hair industry, Candy Shaw. She even teaches classes on how to do it. British haircutting (the method most hair schools teach) is not the only way to cut hair, and in fact, there are a lot of flaws in it if you ask me. I felt the need to say something because I get SO FUCKING TIRED of people like you on KZbin, but also pretentious and know-it-all people like you in the hair industry who think that there is only one correct way to do things and who always thinks they know better. What's wrong with chopping if the haircut is MEANT TO BE CHOPPY, which it looks like this one was? How's it any different than point cutting?? This haircut isn't necessarily my taste, but the stylist did fine. Also, WHO THE FUCK SAYS you can't use a razor on fine hair? Is that just something you were told at one of your "refresher courses" but have never really validated it for yourself to see if it's true? That's the thing about so many hairdressing "commandments". A lot of them are superstitious bullshit. If you can use scissors on fine hair, then you can surely use a razor. You just have to know how to use a razor and how to do it properly on fine hair. She did fine here. And lastly, I just want to say that if you REALLY knew how to cut and style hair, you wouldn't need to take "refresher courses" or "continuing education". Because every new haircut or hairstyle is just a variation on the same old thing. If you were truly a professional, you would know that basically, there are only 4 basic haircuts. Every haircut there is is just a variation on these 4 cuts. Same with haircoloring techniques too. Nothing is truly revolutionary. So the fact that you take these classes says to me that you really don't know what you're doing. But that's just me. Take care!

NOT a fan of this haircut. I don't like it at all actually. Sorry RaDona -- normally I'm a big fan of your work. This was supposed to be a "fun, easy, funky" cut, but you used FOUR products in her hair to style it. How easy will that be for this young lady to replicate everyday? I liked the hair better after it was blow dried, but before you put the "gum" (3rd product) in and spiked it on top and before you used the flat iron. The girl had lovely hair to begin with. At least hair grows back...😏

lt's heartbreaking to see the model's long hair falling away. l think she looked nice with the long hairstyle, it suited her face, the short pixie doesn't look as good on her (in my opinion) Her hair is cut so high that it's fluffy on the top, it's going to take a while to grow that out. But if it's what she asked for then l guess it's the haircut for her. She doesn't look too happy at the end though.

The haircut itself is actually cute...but I agree...it is for 50plus clients, not such a young girl....BUT...nobody forced that girl to sit in the chair and have her cut cut off...AND the girl wanted short...what did she expect? She should have brought in a picture....and had an indepth consult prior to the cut to make sure she was getting exactly what she wanted.
