Good stuff Stu 👍 You're lucky you made it to camp by daylight with all of those porcine distractions! If you change the "screen refresh" setting on your thermal to "manual" instead of "auto" it will only refresh the screen when you press the button, instead of while you are trying to maintain your sight picture and shoot! You should hit the sponsor up for a handheld thermal spotter. I have just bought a new one that fits in my shirt pocket, which would be great for vehicle use 😉 Keep up the good shooting and content 👍
@HuntingwithStu10 ай бұрын
Hi mate yes I do have a thermal hand held HIKMICRO FALCON which is great from the car. Yes I know about the refresh manual button but knowing me I would forget to refresh it, ha.

Hi there Stu And Co impressive shooting as usual..you guy's finally got onto the Thermal's..just dumped my Texain Built Sightmark Wraith for a Pulsar C50 Digex..hopefully if the pulsar thermal scope live's upto the the thermal spotter... it'll be a great asset..the sightmark had no depth of field..at night..got very frustrated many at time..did look at the Hik-micro..but our local pulsar repair man swayed me towards the pulsar..Cj UK

Watching you drive along slowly with the high beams onhas to be one of the best parts of hunting That anticipation before you get a 🐖 run infront of the car

Yes mate it is pretty cool

Are you allowed to use bait to bring them in or do you prefer the stalk?
@HuntingwithStu10 ай бұрын
I prefer to stalk but you can bait them. Things like a grain pile or new stubble after a harvest is always good.
@catherinefarr314010 ай бұрын
Great action as usual Stu. I love a lazy after-work beer while watching your latest exploits mate. Wondering why you're driving around on high beam mate. We usually go slow with no lights or parkers at most. Have we missed a trick?
@HuntingwithStu10 ай бұрын
Hi mate, I have found that pigs don't care about cars sometimes and on this property they are used to cars driving around at night. I shoot so many just walking along the tracks with me right behind with my high beam on.

We haven't seen the Adler or 30/30 for a while Stu. Josh from "Into The Night" seems to have pretty good success with his Ruger America Ranch in 223 on pigs too. And the other good thing is that you are providing food for other animals.
@HuntingwithStu10 ай бұрын
Thanks mate yes the Adler didn't come out n this recent hunt.

Hey mate whats the new rifle and thermal setup is that a ruger american?

Hi mate it is a Ruger American in 350 legend topped off with a HIKMICRO Panther thermal

Lost count how many you shot driving into camp, most times I am hurried to get unpacked, and firewood, I gave up a perfect Turkey to end up going home skunked for the trip. Guess your hogs keep the snake population in check, here they love them. I shot a poisonous Water Moccasin across the creek that had a 12 foot cliff hog jumped down the cliff to eat the snake. Swam the creek all in 15 to minutes, was gone on the return trip hog tracks on the one foot dirt ledgevat waters edge. Sorry another book. Good hunting My Friend.

Ever think of a double or triple header with the .350??
@HuntingwithStu10 ай бұрын
Do you mean 2 pigs with one shot? I don't think it has the penetration to go through a good size pig and into another.

Great video as always. How do you like the 300 legend? What thermal scope are you using? 😊😊😊😊😊
@HuntingwithStu10 ай бұрын
Hi mate yes I do like the 350 legend. The scope is a HIKMICRO Panther
@erstugs10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the correction. I meant 350 legend. I have a Ruger American in 762x39 thinking of rigging out for night hunting. I seen a used Ruger, American 350 legend at the gun shop a few weeks back. But didn’t buy at the time,but when I went back it had sold😢😢😢 Year back I hunted pigs off of horses. Now that was hoot.
