I like the idea of using a 3 guard clippered taper below the Occipital bone, which will naje maintenance much easier and make the haircut stay neater longer

Hi When you are cutting sideways it’s 45 degrees angle right? That’s when I get confused, for me is so hard to cut hair. I know you have a lot of experience and you can used different techniques cutting hair you make it look so easy.

@@Myork2014 yes approx 45, easiest way is to cut down into the palm direction with your fingers pointing towards your face.

Point cutting makes the hair different lengths so it doesn’t look bulky at the ends. Helps the style last longer too. Texturing.

@@rachaeltaylor9936 I’m using it to personalise the hair cut. But as you are NVQ2 you will still follow the guidelines using club cutting techniques. Once you get more confident you can try point cutting.
