Longarm Quilting a Whole Cloth Baby Quilt with Minky

I needed to make a baby quilt for my niece. The quilt is made of flannel on top and Minky on the back. The quilt is about 45" x 55".
The quilting design I used is called EQS Hearts and Swirls by Kalynda Grant.
I could only find the pattern on Gammill's Pattern Cloud.

Your quilting (and quilt) are beautiful. I've never used Minky before and I'm glad I watched your video BEFORE I used it. I've watched other quilters used Minky as a backing and I think they sewed all around the edges while inside out then flipped it. I never really knew why they did that. Now I know thanks to your video.

I have made minky blankets like that. No batting. It is still hard to see that way. It likes to curl. Some longarmers hate quilting it and some don’t have a problem with it. I have made a lot of minky back quilts. Just hate the mess it makes!
