Stunning! Looks like the feather applique is a big dream panel cut up. As always your quilting is the icing & sprinkles ♡♡

I love the longer videos! They really show your talent and "know how" of how to get those designs into odd spaces. Thanks so much for sharing!

Sew beautiful! I can only dream of ever being that good at these feathers. Mine look so like a first grader did it;
@quiltingcurvestudio3 сағат бұрын
I totally know that feeling. With practice, you can graduate to 2nd grade pretty quickly 🤣. Seriously though, practice definitely is the key, and your feathers probably look pretty good to someone else ❤️

I really want to get better at mixing up designs like you did with the pebbles and swirls. Another great video. Thanks for sharing!

It takes some experimenting and practice. But it looks so good when we blend designs.

I can't tell if you are trying to catch the edge of the raw edge with the mono poly thread or essentially ditching? Love the Ruler Course Sam it is soooooooo worth it !!!!!!
@quiltingcurvestudio3 сағат бұрын
So happy to hear that you are enjoying the course! I am ditching, not catching

Around 14:12 there appears to be some fullness of background fabric above the feather stem. did you do anything special to take it in or did the quilting of the feather plumes and background filler absorb it?
@quiltingcurvestudio3 сағат бұрын
There is a slight fullness, the background fill definitely helps take in that fabric, but this is a really small amount and in my opinion not a problem. Try and see it in the overview part of the video 😜
