Thats the whole issue with Shonen anime/manga in general. The braindead main character with 0 character development always has to be the strongest in the end, regardless of whether the more interesting, more developed character put in more work to get to that point. Goku and Vegeta, Naruto and Sasuke, Luffy and Zoro, Asta and literally everyone else in Black Clover, etc. Sure, the secondary protag can sometimes surpass the main character, but never for long.

@@ghannawi13 imma stop you right there, i don't fully agree on your sentiment on one piece, yes it's true that Luffy as a character isn't the deepest of them all but he did have some character development, especially after the death of his brother, and was separated from his crew for two whole years so all of them could, in their own way prepare themselves for the second half of the grand line. And the thing about their travels is, there are way more stronger and dangerous opponents out there than the straw hats, that is why Luffy had to come up with different clever techniques or "gears" so he could protect his crew. As for Zoro, apart being first mate and Luffy's most loyal crew member his main motivation is to become the worlds strongest swordsman, so it would make sense if he would always push his limits to better himself, i remember back in the arabasta arc when he had to push his limits to the point when he could easily cut trough steel. But the rest of the crew goes trough some impressive progression throughout the series as well the best examples are Nami and Usopp. At the beggining they were the most useless members when it came to combat, never the less, because they didn't want to hold the crew back, and support them the best as possible, they grew themselves out to the point that, bow they can easily keep up with the rest of the them

Glad that fmab was the anime which brought me into being a degenerate weeb, so I didn't even know back then that it's one of the highest ranked anime. But it's still my fav anime. Rewatched it like 10x and I'd still say that no other series beats it.

Goku married Chi Chi at the end of Dragonball, Chi Chi is officially his wife. Oh and don't get me wrong Bulma is beautiful too, but she made it clear that she isn't the marriage type. 2. One of the big differences in those two relationships, are the children. Toriyama put Vegeta with Bulma (and made sure that he established Bulma not being the marriage type before this) so when Vegeta has any children they are all Bastards. Yes, all of Vegeta's children are Bastards, because Bulma birth them out of wedlock (not married) Goku on the other has no Bastard children because he married Chi Chi before having any children. So that put an even bigger stain on Vegeta and even degraded Bulma to some extent because of that. Toriyama knew very well what he was doing. He hates Vegeta, and he shows it boldly. I always thought Toriyama was crazy, how do you create a character you don't like? But find out alot of people like him and you do that to him?? Just because YOU don't like him?? That's crazy.
