the FSM mini, is a great word for the shorter rider, or lightweight person. For free writing and cruising you simply cannot get any better. It's very lightweight, well constructed for the price, and has the pretty aggressive rocker. The rocker will allow you to lock your feet in, sort of draw your toes inward on the board. For standees, Coleman's, etc. but it does have a short wheelbase, we have a demo at the shop if you're ever in Seattle...... : ) great question, thanks

@Fishystail The Loki flush is going to work as well as you can get for the type of riding you want to do. You have to understand that a board that is good for DH is typically not ideal for dancing, and vice versa.

As the one before we aren't able to answer all of these because of the character limit. But as far as the 97mm flywheels go, they would be fine for suburban areas since they will roll over a lot since they are so big. i would say they are a bit over-sizd though and recommend something smaller like a 90mm or 83mm size. They are only good on boards who have big enough cut outs to accommodate them.

@originalskateny123 I would definitely be sure to run some smaller wheels on there. Something like a 66mm would work. In my opinion the best trucks for a drop speed are bear 852's.

@italianmobsta74 The W concave is AWESOME if you are bombing hills and are seeking a board that is more nimble with a more "locked in" feeling. If you like longer wheelbases and don't see yourself cornering at high speeds, then the '08 might be more suiting.

@soldierpookie It depends on how fast that "fast" is. If you are going faster than 35 mph or so I'd say go with an evo. If you are sticking to slower speeds than that, the Chinook is better for sliding.

@yoyomama650 Think about the landyachtz dropcarve, Rayne Hustler, or the infamous Loaded Dervish. They've all got great flex and should suit you well.

yo. We can do a bearing vid later down the road for sure. To sum it up: pricier bearings last longer. There is a common misconception that more expensive bearings are faster. This is wrong. A more expensive bearing is milled with tighter tolerances, has stronger materials and tighter seals. Basically the more you pay the longer they will last. To answer your question: I am rocking Bones Swiss Six's. The insect DH boards are VERY stiff.

It's kind of like Insect long boards here in Seattle, they have a huge following over in Europe, and especially here in Seattle. @soldierpookie they are pretty much the same, the evo will be more stable because it has more of a deep tub concave but the chinook doesnt have as big as a deep tub concave as an evo making it a little easier to slide but i would use the chinook

@mrmonsterjude because it is a free ride board that is also good for light bombing but if you are just looking for a racing board i would go with the rayne nemesis, it slides and can handle freeride but is very good downhill

@italianmobsta74 interesting through our research, the attention span is about 60 seconds, so we tried to include as much as we can. Just in particular would you be more interested in seeing in our videos. We thought if we start to tech out too much that people lose interest, but our goal here is to educate the guys who are new to longboarding in a respectful constructive manner. Well my questions about these boards are: 1) Whats the difference between the Landyachtz Evo and Rayne Deemonseed or Deemonseed Dee-Lite? 2) When it comes to speed, commuting, carving and in all just having fun with friends, which is best? 3) What is more common for a more suburban area with lots of big streets but some little streets: Speed or Carving? 4) What is the difference between the Loaded Dancer and Loaded Dervish? 5) What are the ups and downs of ALL the boards?

Of coarse you can, but sliding might be slightly harder because you don't have so much momentum. Just do your research and pick the right board for you. :D

Hey Trevor, all the MotionBoardshop videos are great! I had a question. Im looking for a good deck for some serious downhill bombing, I want a board I can feel comfortable on at speeds around 63 MPH with some 42 randals and venom barrels probably 90a. Whats getting me is I don't know whether I would want a drop mount, top mount, drop deck, or what! I would be using the board for mainly downhill speed races. I would want to be able to predrift or drift any fast turns as well. any deck suggestions
