hey hans! you are such an inspiring person, i would like to ask you if it's possible to make a video doing crosslands? i really want to learn crosslands but is kinda hard to find videos about it.
@LongboardsBE8 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Well crosslands are a strange thing. Hard to make a tricktip of it since it's all practice and getting used to it. I'll give you some tips: -Try practicing a one foot land first. If you can do those, it's easy to put down the other foot afterwards OVER the first one, making it a perfect crossland. So if you can do one foot landings, you can do crosslands. This takes a lot of practice to learn, but once you got them, you'll feel very accomplished. Find that spot on the board where you have to put your foot to be able to balance it on one foot and practice on the balance - When standing cross footed, your body weight has to be balanced above the center of your two feet. This is something you have to practice since it's a stance that your body isn't used to. - Put your feet on the board in a way that they have maximum stability. Not with heels all the way off the board or something cause then you can't find your balance. Also not turned in all the way etc. Hope this helps you out, this is pretty much all I know about it :) Good luck!

Hey man! Thanks for the vid. I would have a question though. Hello! I am (quite) new to longboarding, however I am used to riding but I really need a few tips. The first one is the most important to me.. Am I able to do tricks with a longboard that has high(?) tails? I got this type of lb(Madrid - Missionary 37,5" Pulverized) and althought I can do things like ollie, cant do other. Well my english sucks but I hope u undestand.
@LongboardsBE7 жыл бұрын
hmmm hard to say for me. most tricks etc are possible on almost every board. As you get into tricks more it'll be interesting to get a board that's all about tricks but I started on a Mindless Wreather too which isn't a freestyle board at all. So you'll have to find out yourself i think but sure do have fun with it and try it out :) No prob with the english btw haha hugs from BE

Hey Hans! Got a question for you. Trying to learn this trick and having trouble with the landing. I ride goofy like you and I know when you land, you have to land with a regular stance. I'm pretty new to longboarding so would you recommend learning to ride both goofy and regular. I feel like I can't land cause when I try to ride regular, it's very hard for me. Thanks for your videos!
@LongboardsBE8 жыл бұрын
Hi dude :) Well, when you're goofy, it's way easier to just practice popping it goofy. The switch landing will feel weird in the beginning but you'll get used to it. Popping it in switch is way harder... Good luck bro!
@purxiz9028 жыл бұрын
Riding Regular isn't that hard, it's just like learning to ride all over again, only harder. Okay so I lied, but if you intend to advance in tricks being a little comfortable riding regular and goofy is important.
