I own 16 SMC Batteries at this point all bc of Ironcladrc! I just ordered the 8800 pink 3s for my Mystic 29, theyll fit better than the 6500 HP packs. Im wanting the 5300Srd 4s once they finally are in Stock again for the Dominator. I turned my buddy onto Smc for his losi Digger

That is just mind blowing! When I got out of RC racing 1700s were as good as it got out of a 6 cell pack... and we had to solder together and shrink wrap the pack our selves!

Yes, SMC all the way, started using them summer of 2022!! Also with winter in Florida on the way I ordered two SMC battery checker.. The water Temps in the ponds have been 95 since July, so starting in mid September the boat gange will be back on the ponds!!😊

Oh man, when I got I'm the water at the park pond to recover my hatch, the water felt like mid 90's. It's hard to cool electronics down when the water Temps are that high. I can't wait for the fall here in the Carolinas. That is my favorite time of year. BG4L

Hey Big B, great vid on the SMC 8800,8400 runs on the 2 boats, informative. Been in contact with Danny at SMC, and have arranged for shipping to Canada. My question to you and would appreciate your advice on what you would use on the s wake for a speed run with the SMC line up. Say as in the HCL-HP 6500 or 7600 mah twins or something else. I understand the 8800’s give a great run time, just want to obtain a PB. Thanks.

SonicWake speed run I'd use the 6500 hcl-hp, there lighter than the 7600, so your speed should be faster with the lighter weight pack

Great video brother... I started out with spectrum 5000 packs in my Sonic Wake... 2 to 3 minutes run time tops and the packs are so hot! Switched to GensAce 8000mah 120c bashing batteries... 5 to 10 minutes run time... BUT... the bashing batteries are so heavy the boat won't rollover after crashing! Was looking for exact what you are showcasing in this video! High power capacity and low weight! Thanks Big B!

Yes sir there great with the stock motor and esc. Running a 4519 oxidean marine prop if I'm not mistaken

Those damn smc's... Still not available over here... Hoping new series won't be much more expensive for that matter. Dv's i liked, only got 1set not to long ago and they perform better than (all) my other lipo's...

How do you set that voltage alarm to let you know when the battery is low please Big B (please answer)

There's preset voltages on the alarm, you scroll through them and pick the appropriate voltage for your application
