Longer, Thicker Lashes - Mascara Layering Method

Ever since watching this tip..I have used 2 different mascaras.... 1st, one that thickens the lashes...2nd, one that has all the little fibres in it to make the lashes longer, and it works!! I've had the best looking lashes I've had for years. 👍👍

I have always had quite good lashes - and I have never used a Lash serum. I noticed that my lashes got even fuller and longer when I started using The Ordinary Buffet serum (I put it all over my face incl the eye area). Then a while ago The Ordinary launched a Lash growth serum and it actually contains a lot of peptides as the Buffet serum.

Hi Nisha! Very good tip! I have never used the eyelash curler because I too have always been full and long. Lately I bought one to try but I always forget to use it! Sometimes I do what you do and apply the layers with two different mascaras. My favorite is the Essence brand Lash Princess the one that is black with the instructions written in green! I've tried other brands but I always come back to the same one! Have a good weekend! xxx

Huda beauty do a double mascara which is worth a try with a slim brush on one side and a thicker brush on the other as agree it takes 2 brushes to get a good result , Kiko do some great mascaras too xx

Agree, I just commented and mentioned a couple of Kiko mascaras lol. Theyre really so good. Not all of them I tried ended up being my faves but these - Maxi Mod mascara and Extra volume sculpt mascara I truly love and I think the primer and top coats from Kiko are some of the best. Yes its an extra step but its worth it. And if Kiko has mascaras for 3,99 EUR its such a steal !

Love LeVage’ for my lashes and brows. First time in my life I’ve had long lashes and my brows are getting thicker. It is reasonable in price.

Hi Nisha - great video as always. Definitely agree on the lash serum as they do help as our lashes start to thin out. I use Rapidlash and get really good results. Key is using it every night for several weeks to get the growth. Xxx

Thanks for this demo. I always wondered how you were able to make your eyelashes look so thick and dark without wearing falsies. I’ve been using Obaji lash serum with very good results.

Ill definitely be trying this, thank you. Usually I use Kiko Milano building base white mascara primer, after that Ill use one of my fave fake lashes mascaras and then I like to finish it off with Kiko Milano curling top coat mascara, it really lifts the lashes.

Thank you for making this video. I struggle so much with finding the right mascara so I started wearing false eyelashes over a year ago. Although I do love the false eyelashes I would prefer to use mascara if I can get the look I want. Really looking forward to trying this😊

I have just started using Eyeko limitless lengthening mascara , It's really good I only need 2 coats it has a skinny brush. I also use lash serum , It's called Long 4 lashes & costs about £15 . I'd like to try the Ordinary one that someone suggested ❤❤

Beautiful! I have a question...How do you keep your mascara from ending up on your eyelid at the base of the lashes? If I go root to tip, I always end up with little patches of mascara there and then when I clean it up I have to reapply my mobile lid shadow - very annoying! Any tips?

Try to look down when you are applying the mascara, almost trying to push your upper lid against the wand, I hope that makes sense , it is tricky and sometimes I get mascara on my lid x

Do you use waterproof mascara? And if so how do you get it off? It’s so hard to remove. I never miss any of your vlogs. I watched the fringe cutting one and I’m a hairdresser but retired and I reall learned a great way you cut your fringe which I will always use . Your a great teacher for so many things. Thankyou.

Hi Nisha, I go to bed late but when I see a video pop up I just have to watch. I wanted to tell that I bought today at Ulta Derma E Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches with Allantoin & Caffeine Vitamin B3 I will let you know how it works also using Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Youth Power Eye Balm morning and at bedtime. Went to doctor for annual exam and received maybe bad news will have to have a special test. Red my lab not doing well either. Don't laugh! I did not wear any makeup (except lipstick ) for 8 years . Then, stay at home, because of covid happened. Now I do put on makeup. With Mascara, I usually put it at the end, to sort of give it a standout appearance . My eyes water a lot from allergies. Are the Delilah & Catrice waterproof too? Thanks tor the info.!!!!! Morning Nisha, I absolutely love Revitalash. Been using it for a long time. I also used to have lovely long thick curled lashes until my mid 40’s I’d say then they just seemed to go all at once and I found I was struggling with my Mascara to get the nice length I used to have. 6 weeks on the serum and they were back. Mine are so long now that I just need one thin coat of Mascara. Anymore and they would be up touching my brows, lol. I usually just now use the serum a couple of times a week as you say, but I have just this week received the new Beauty Pie serum which is supposed to be really great too but for a fraction of the cost so I’m going to try that as my maintenance serum to see how I get on. ❤❤ xx

No eyeliner, it's just the mascara applied closely to the root of the lashes that might look like eyeliner x

So Nisha , for the last 3 and a bit weeks I’ve had lash extensions . Something I’ve been wanting to try for a long time . They’re not at all fake looking and look very natural and curl up lovely . I have to say I love them but very much missed applying mascara 😂 so now they’re starting to go and I’m applying mascara on them but hardly need any at all . I don’t think I will have them done again purely as I’ve lived so long doing mascara it doesn’t seem right not to need it . They look lovely with that bit on and it hasn’t affected them at all . I’m looking forward thou to be piling on the mascara again to my natural lashes but If you’ve never tried lash extensions they’re definitely worth a try for a change . Great video as always 🤗

Don't do lash extensions (only for special occasions) they put stress on your own lashes and ruin them if you do it all the time, they always look good the first time but not after a few infills I have never had it done but I have seen a lot of my friends doing it all the time and ended up with no lashes, they grew back but it took months. Also, they would get used to long full lashes and wanted longer and thicker(it was like a drag lol, just like people that get their lips done bigger and bigger) and they all started looking like Daisy the cow 😂😂😂, Of course, it is your choice I can't tell you what to do (but I am 😂😂) but I only have your best interest at heart.

I had them done when I got married 17 yrs ago but they’ve advanced since then and it was something i kept wondering and wondering so now I’ve tried it I’m happy to know that I don’t particularly need them cos i enjoy mascara so much. I couldn’t afford keep having them done every fortnight £40 as well as all the other costs of things , my son treated me for Mother’s Day but no way would I keep paying that for one thing 😂 thank you my friend for the good advice ☺️ when they’re gone they’re gone 😬❤️

I totally agree with using a lash serum. I’ve been using Babe Lash for several years and my lashes have never looked better. You have to be patient, like you said……and I use the serum every night.
