You know... hearing that Smite 2 will launch with only Conq for maybe the 1st whole year was... enlightening cause now I legit don't think I will, thanks for that info, been here since beta for this lovely game BUT I can say as a MOBA player of all kinds the "shiny" of smite is located in Slash/Clash/Arena/Old Siege IMO I get Conq is fun, I play it plenty, but the reason I reinstall years after years is for the "much more fun other game modes" ~

there is no other MOBA that exists right now where you can ask your newb friend to play with you without making a scrub account to play with them other than Smite, you just play Arena with them as party host, you get their bracket and you get to have fun teaching them 'How to even' on a 3rd person MOBA, the lack of that here will be, IMO, a serious drawback for the pull of Smite2.

If they keep preventing players to logon the account they want, they aint gonna go far....yesterday all of a sudden it decided to log me on my Steam account instead of the one account that has the god pack, that i've been using for years now. So right now im just thinking of asking for a refund for Smite2 to be honnest. I don't smurf, but the account i use in Smite is not linked to my Steam because back in the days we didn't need any 3rd party to log. But the email i use with steam does have the free version so i guess they just decided they'd make the link without asking when i bought Smite 2. Won't lie, i'm pretty pissed about it. Was hoping to keep playing Smite while waiting for Smite 2 tests....but not without a god pack :/

Let's be brutally honest, the only mode carrying smite are the arena casuals who just want chaotic and fast games. Making conquest the only mode for smite 2 at first, is only going to bring in like 5-10% of players who thrive off a competitively focused mode. While amazing for competitive, you're setting a terrible first impression to the casuals who carry games like this.
