The last guy was clearly not even trying lol. He literally just set a record no one had set before. An A4 sheet of paper is 210mm wide and 297mm long, meaning the last record of 2.75m could've been beaten if you cut the sheet vertically 10 times at 2.1cm per strip. A 2.1cm/0.86inch strip of paper is a very achievable width for even a 4 year old to cut lol. Not to say over 100m isn't impressive though.
