If you don't mind me saying the tunnel connects Paarl to Worcester which are but two towns amongst others that form part of the Boland or Cape Winelands area in the Western Cape. Cape Town is a city about 60km northeast of Paarl. The Huguenot tunnel you are driving through is also in Paarl. Not that you do, but I've noticed some folks from outside the Western Cape province confuse Cape Town with the province of the Western Cape... which is not the same. The WC is made up of about 30 municipalities of which CPT is but 1.
