That’s it! I vote Gary needs his own disability friendly and accessible private enclosed storm shelter which he shall be escorted to in the suspicion of a storm. Lester I’ve noticed that in A LOT of you videos lately that you seem to saying you don’t want to keep us too long, you don’t want to bore us with certain content and we don’t have to watch if don’t want to. I believe that most of us are here for you and the babies in whatever situations that you bring us to. Your loyal followers don’t need to be told that we can join you if we want to. We love you and support you. I’m not saying you should be arrogant about who you are but be confident in yourself and don’t change your style or the person you are and have been. Don’t apologize to ANYONE. Keep doing you Lester. Your ability to foresee situations that may be hazardous to your babies comes from your experience and your gut. Keep listening to those gut feelings because you sir saved that calf’s life. And, what a beautiful little bull he will become AND what a protective momma Jolene is❤

Cattle are cattle, they have built in rain coats, consider this, how do ranchers build a barn to house perhaps 40,000 or more head of cattle. Perhaps it was more a case of Gary choice of position rather than the others not letting him under cover. Sorry to spoil your story Lester🫤.

Willie Joe is my vote. The calf looks great. I'm so proud for Waylon and Joleen. This is the first boy to be born to any of Tex and Santiana's offspring! Joleen did so good. This will be the first long horn bull I see that is mostly white like his mom. It will be interesting. I feel bad for Gary! With his gimp hip, I'm sure he's in more pain today being out in that weather whether it's muscle or bone right now, a cold pounding rain for 6+ hours won't help him at all. He is accepted enough to be an uncle/babysitter, he should be good enough to be under cover. He needs to be under cover. Poor Gary.

As much as I do want to see that precious new bundle up close, I completely understand Jolene. When I had my first baby, as Jolene has just had and visitors came to gush over and goo about him, I would greet the welcomers at the door, with my baby in my arms and almost felt a sense of dread or trepidation when having to hand him off to allow others to enjoy holding him, but much like the more experienced Santianna, by my third baby, when folks came to welcome our newest bundle, I had grown past the ‘new parent concerns’ and as I answered my door, I happily greeted my guests by placing that third baby in their arms....☺️💕 That had to be a kind of hard, long night for Gary. Hope he is showing to be no worse for the wear, this morning. Please give Sadie a wee tickle from me and keep yourself safe! - I will like either way that lil’ cutie’s name is decided on....☺️

Maybe you can put a couple of lean too's in the field so that every cow can get to cover during the storms. Poor little Gary had to stand in it all night. We old people used to say drive it till the wheels fall off, when in reality, it's till the engine quits!!! Joleen is a protective mama & she's probably afraid you are going to snatch her boy again! I noticed by where you showed the baby that it was a place that flooded as you have shown it before. I was so glad you risked it all to get that baby & Jolene out of that area. You take good care of your longhorns. BTW, the Longhorn was the mascot for my high school , 55 yrs ago. Oh, boy you certainly have a creek running thru where you had the culvert. Willie Joe is a great name for the baby & he sure is pretty from what I could see . Dang Tex is a magnificent looking animal! He just exudes majesty.
