I'd say if nothing else you might set a handful of grapes near the water source since that is his favorite. Nature will take care of him. He is in good health with good reserves on his body to see him through this adventure.

People that don't experience tornadoes in their area don't realize there is more danger for the animals to be in danger of the structure falling on them, if they are closed inside the barn. If they are outside they can attempt to run or hide, to get away from the center of a tornado, if you have a extra warning time, slot of farmers will actually open their gates and let the animals out, so they can move away from the worst of the approaching tornado, then go search and retrieve their animals once the storm have left their area.

@@joanneriley3899 because Nugget is going to sit on the eggs incubating them alone for 90 days, that's three months and he's normally such a social EMU. Nugget will be sitting there rain or shine, cold or hot, windy or not trying to hatch he and Goldie's eggs. I'm an empathic person so I feel sorry for him having to be isolated and enduring things he could normally seek a bit of shelter from. He's being a good EMU doing what is instinctually right. I think Jason and Brooke are proud of him but also wish his mission was easier.

I am so glad Brooke finally got into her appt. I remember my first appt, and the Dr. is so nice, and I did not learn everything but it was just good to finally know they were actually checking things out. I hope she feels a bit better at least emotionally after her appt. It will still take some trial and error, but hopefully she will start to get some relief. This weather has been very hard for people having these problems. If the weather settles down a but maybe our misery will. God Bless.
