Stop showing such yummy food lol. Hubby delivered a load in town tonight, so I asked if he was hungry. He said yes. So I told him we have to go to Longhorn to eat. I ordered what you got Staci, it was delicious. I had mom try a bite and hubby. They both liked it also. I do not like Parmesan but it was so delicious. We also got the wings and wild West shrimp. Both yummy also.

I like my wings seasoned this way and then I dip in sauces. These Longhorn wings look really good. The chicken entree looks good, especially the baked potato. I would enjoy the baked potato, including the skin. The steak & corn entree also looks really good. Great entree choices from Longhorn.

Longhorn is a place where you will get a good meal every single time. I love the parm crusted chicken as well as the steaks, the shrimp appetizer, the brussels sprouts and mac and cheese. They used to do a tableside steak sauce that was out of this world but they stopped. Oh yeah when Matt said grip it by the hair (about the corn), I laughed so loud. LOL

Yes, we love this place! I never had the chance to try the tables side steak sauce but that sounds so cool! They also used to have this giant porterhouse for 2 that we loved but its gone now too. This was the first time I had that chicken dish but I loved it. And yes...Matt is hilarious! He makes me laugh every day!

I have done it all. Keto/low carb worked well but I also started working out and eventually did a few 5k runs. I lost 60 lbs quick. Eventually added some carbs back. I gained a bit but not working out anymore, other than walking and riding my bicycle. Anyways. Eating out is the worst because they just load it all with crap. You should get healthy, its worth it.

I did low carb and lost some weight, but it's so hard to keep up with it. I got burnt out. I think the best thing is to watch your carb intake and juat be mindful of how much you are eating. If i knew i was going out and i wanted a dessert that evening, i traded off munching on the breads and pastas. It was like a trade-off. It sucks getting older because it's so hard to keep the weight off unless you are all pumped up on the weight loss shots or live eat and breathe dieting and fitness 24 7. I want to enjoy life, and food is one of my enjoyments. I've had several family members to have cancer and was unable to eat. You never know what's down the road in life, so if you want the carb, eat the carb. You never know if it's your last one. Lol

You make some great points. It's hard to balance healthy eating with quality of life and hard to keep up extreme diets long term. Hi Staci, greetings from Newark, Delaware. Your platters looked soo good. My daughter and I love Longhorn. We go about once a month. I always want to try the chicken dish you got but I keep ordering steak cause it’s fabulous there. Do you like French Onion soup? They make the best. So flavorful. Were the wings as good as they looked? We always order the shrimp appetizer and the artichoke and spinach dip. Soooo creamy. I love food. I dream about it.😂😂😂😂😂. This was my first time trying the chicken, I'm usually stuck on the steak too! French onion soup isn't my favorite, but Matt loves it, maybe he'll try it next time. The shrimp app is one of my favorite dishes, I LOVE it. I haven't had the spinach dip here, but that is one of my fav dishes so I'll have to give it a try! I think longhorn is just fine but not quite the homerun that it's made out to be. I feel like the current economy will really take its toll on places like that. When it costs over 30 dollars for a couple to eat fast food, you don't even walk in a place like that unless it is a special occasion

Both of you should be doing the no carb together, it would be easier. Corn is probably one of the worst carbs to eat. I tried the adkins diet and lost like 40 pounds in 2 weeks and my cholesterol levels went to below normal in that two weeks, it was unbelievable but as soon as you start eating carbs, it goes right back on...I lived on bacon and parm cheese fried chicken..I ate as much as I wanted.

Some people enjoy the long form, some people don't. We don't really plan the length of our reviews, and just however long it is, is however long it ends up being. That being said, I have been trying to add chapters to all of our videos so that those of you who just want to watch certain parts can just skip around easily and those who enjoy the long form videos can enjoy them too.
