LONGLEGS Movie Review & Ramble (SPOILERS)

Jake Ward reviews and rambles on & on for 16 minutes about the movie Longlegs. written and directed by Osgood Perkins. It stars Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage. In pursuit of a serial killer, an FBI agent uncovers a series of occult clues that she must solve to end his terrifying killing spree.

Long legs is a great movie, and the title card has a quote “Well you're slim and you're weak/You've got the teeth of the hydra upon you/You're dirty, sweet, and you're my girl” which to me means despite her killing longlegs and her mom”cutting off the head of the hydra”Lee and possibly the little girl have “the teeth of the hydra upon you” implying they are now the hydra and the cycle will continue.

I want to like this movie more than I do. It starts so strong; incredible tone. Alas, as it went through its acts, I just found myself becoming weary with how the plot unraveled.

I watched longlegs last night, i really enjoyed it. Felt a little like some of the weird magic stuff never got explained. Super good movie though, would recommend

Yeah just gets skimmed over I would be interested to see how he created the dolls and how he did the satanic magic
