You do not need to see the full plot to develop a perception of films. The point of films is to go in and experience them. That way you can say "hey, I like this" or "Hey I hated it". Trailers reveal too much to get peoples instant opinion to see a film or to appeal to masses. Be an individual. Go see a film to experience it. Films don't provide experiences anymore when the plot is revealed.

Oz Perkins is one of a kind director. Expect a slow burn movie that is to emphasize on producing continuous dread than on putting you in anticipation of next jump scare. The fact that Maika and Cage are here tells that it is going to be ever more awesome than his previous ones.

I loved The Blackcoats Daughter, his first film. The Hansel and Gretel movie wasn’t for me though, so i’m 50/50 with him. This looks very interesting though and I love Nicolas Cage so I will definitely be checking this out.

NEON knows how to make horror trailers better than any other company. They never reveal the plot, but they give you enough to make you interested in seeing what’s going on or what it’s all about. I am also an avid Cage enthusiast so I watch whatever he is in regardless the genre or if it’s good or not. So yes, I will be watching this. More excited than usual though because this looks very interesting.

This is one of the best trailers I have seen from a horror movie in a very long time, simply by the fact that it doesn't show anything that spoils the plot nor the true horror in the movie! It leaves the audience mystified, and that is what attracts more viewers! And not to mention having Nicolas Cage in it, how can you go wrong here. Oz Perkins, good job sir! I can't wait for his other horror movie called ''The Monkey'' working with the legendary Stephen King, which will star Elijah Wood.
