Many other tubers that are famous enlarge things in thumbnails all the time, its never seen as "clickbait" then, so what about this is any different? There are plenty of large gourds in the video, its an obvi edited thumbnail, and it could have been hard to see the gourd at normal size. She still has gourds in the video, big ones too, and does what the title says she would, so there is no clickbait imo. Clickbait is when something is shown that is nowhere in the video, like showing a rainbow heart cake but then you never get to see any rainbow or heart shaped cakes through the whole video, or the classic "something bad happened" thumbnails where the video has nothing to do with the thumbnail (pewdie being "hit by a car" for example) But an enlarged gourd? Nah, not clickbait at all, only clickbait for farmers and gardeners who may actually be baited by oversized veggies. You see, to be clickbait, it needs to be bate people will eat, most people would scroll right past the gourd, but a rainbow cake thumbnail is guaranteed millions of views

@@hrpdrp97 simply because the concept of this channel is based on row HONEST hard work in day to day live, also it never had click bait that looks realistic before.
@hrpdrp973 жыл бұрын
@@bunny379 it is not though, that is the meaning YOU personally attached to it, you do not know her or why she started making videos, for all you know, she could have made videos just to share her style of life and the beauty of nature. If the channel was about honest hard work, it still wouldn't matter what the thumbnail shows, honest work isn't the same as honest advertising, and thumbnails only exist to advertise a video, wether you like it or not, that's just what they do. Oh also she has, quite a few, peanuts being one, some berries in another, just look at her chanel
@bunny3793 жыл бұрын
Yes, i did just like you as well. That's the whole point on KZbin. And i fully agree just like me , you and many other do not know the person/ people behind this channel and their reasons for creating it. So when u develop a certain performance your public expects u to follow true if their support means something. In this case the misleading was not obvious at all so the followers feel lied to about the concept they are use to and find interesting.

@hrpdrp973 жыл бұрын
Its not really click bait, she just enlarged the subject of the video to make it stand out from her other videos. Many KZbinrs do this all the time, its not a bad thing. If she didnt do this, this vido, her bean video, peanut video, and mushroom video would all look just like this one, and only by translating the title can you know which one is wich.

From my understanding, your fanbase consists of people who regularly watch you and follow your videos, people who are sincerely interested in your videos. They don't need to be attracted with fake honey, they already know the taste of your content :) Your videos are not like the fake videos that are 2-3minutes long and lie, your videos are honest. There is no need for clickbait
@hrpdrp973 жыл бұрын
This is far from any bad clickbait, this is simply some basic exaggeration to make things more visible/interesting in the thumbnail. She is not lying about anything, there is still large gourds in the video and ahe still makes containers with them. Think about every popular youtuber and how they have exaggerated or blown up images in their thumbnails all the time. Having a fan base is nice and all but there are still millions of people that DONT know this channel and might like it but if they are never intrigued into clicking, how will they ever know? Im sorry, but i must point out that you are telling someone with very few subs (compared to other cooking channels even) that they newd to settle and that everyone who may like their content is already watching it and no one else will want to watch it, wich is not a mentality we push onto youtubers that are not chinese. Markiplier has mush more editing in his thumbnails but no one calls it clickbait let alone feels the need to point it out causing people to unsub for stupid petty reasons.

@@ang5798 again, WHAT IS THE ISSUE? Im sure most of the youtubers you wach do something similar, most youtubers do this, its not a lie, its a stretch, literally, the item in the video is in the thumbnail, its there, its just a bit bigger than reality, its no lie, maybe if the title was also something like, "making bowl from MASSIVE gourd! you wont believe ..." Again, if you like the video, what is you issue with the thumbnail? Why do you allow it to detract from what you enjoy, its not like there is no gourds or only tiny ones, its not like she made it look like its blue and some "rare massive blue gourd" like actual crappy content farm channels do.

@@hrpdrp97 who cares what others do? I was just trying to understand why it's such a strong reaction from her subscribers as opposed to other channels. Why you are huffing and puffing about this is beyond me
@hrpdrp973 жыл бұрын
@@ang5798 like you said, who cares what others do, so why do you feel the need to be a dick (for lack of a better word) over such an insignificant piece of her videos, IT DOSENT EVEN AFFECT THE VIDEO ITSELF Also idk if you saw but its been said thousands of times over, if she cared she would have changed it ages ago. What do you think you will accomplish leaving that comment? That she may stop enlarging fruit and vegg? Not when its effective at getting new subs and the vast majority of people dont give a flying fuk about how "authentic" the thumbnail is. Besides, whats more authentic, making goofy crazily edited thumbnails because your a goofy person or making thumbnails you dont like but are popular and get allot of clicks? Dont matter what you think, if she wants to enlarge a part of her thumbnail she can and people will still love her content, she could start puting a rainbow filter over foods and STILL have fans because it has 0 affect on her content, ITS JUST A THUMBNAIL GET OVER IT
