The original SF4, despite its meager roster, has much more self-respect and sense identity than SF5.

Yeah but then again, SF4 was the revival of 2D fighters while SF5 was your typical "follow up". Plus SF5 did redeem itself years later so let's not act like SF5 is anything but good.

The original SF4, who is surpassed by his various upgrades. The great thing of this version is the announcer, munch better than the another one who speaks in SSF4 up.

First of all, this is the arcade version, not the consumer version which had more characters. And even if this vanilla edition was the be all end all version, it's still a COMPLETE and high quality fighting game, unlike SF5. When a new edition comes out, be joyful because that only means the preceding version was a SUCCESS.

announcer in SSF4/USF4 has more energy imo, although i like the old one too (i grew up playing the original SF4)

Esa es la versión Árcade, no se puede jugar (según yo), pero porque no juegas la versión para PC? (Trae más personajes)

Proof: IV has fully animated cutscenes, while V & 6 have storyboard-like cutscenes which is a downgrade.

You can play the vanilla sf4 on xbox,one or series,through backcompat

Because the versions of Street Fighter outside of Japan had the names Vega, Bison and Balrog changed.
