Longplay of Bomberman 64 (US/EU) [HD]

This is the western Bomberman 64 also known as Baku Bomberman in Japan. The Japanese "Bomberman 64" title is actually an entirely different game which is on the channel as well. The game is pretty straightforward and fun but not everybody is aware of the final world that can be unlocked by collecting all 100 Gold cards. Each stage has 5 cards, three of which are hidden and the other two are always obtained through the same manner: one by beating the stage within a certain time and the other by defeating 30 enemies. This longplay showcases all gold cards obtained, except for the time trial gold card as I was required to replay every stage for that which I ultimately left out of the video. If you've managed to collect all 100 Gold cards, you'll be good enough to take on the final stages as well.. as these are HARD. They're not anywhere close to the difficulty represented in the other worlds as those were more aimed towards casual players. For the final stages I also unlock all gold cards (except for the bosses) even though these don't unlock any further content.. I just figured it'd be worthwhile to show the solutions for them as they require me to explore more of the stage. Anyway, I'm very happy to have finally re-recorded this game using TAS. Not only has the quality very much improved, the gameplay in this video is also much smoother and didn't require any cuts.
