Fairly straight forward and enjoyable game. Each level can be played for three different missions. The first misson (the one shown in the video) features the entire stage plus a boss fight. The second mission is a time trial and the third asks you to collect certain items. You're actually forced to take on some of these extra missions to unlock the next levels, but in this video I cut all of that out and only show the first mission of each level considering no extra worthwhile content is shown in the other missions as the level doesn't get altered or anything

Omg a memory of this has been unlocked for me. As a kid my mom came to pick me up from a friends house while we were playing this and I was so mad I had to leave haha.

This game here is still one of my most favorites! I even still have the disc version of this game for PS1 as well which still works really great so far including the digital copy which was recently re-released on the PlayStation Store for both PS4 and PS5!

Thank you very much for uploading this and this was also one of my other video idea suggestions too! I also still have this game for PS1 which was one of the very first PS1 games that I've ever played and I got it for Christmas back in 2000 along with my old PS1 console as well! I even have the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins movie on both VHS and DVD and I still remember watching the TV series many years ago when I was younger. It would also be really nice if the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series comes to Disney+ next too!

@@kristopherkranock4201 Would be cool, but Disney and Pixar would keep shoving that Lightyear film down the throats of kids and Toy Story fans and tell us to stop demanding the cartoon be released because they hate it and don't want it seeing the light of day ever again.

A shame Disney and Pixar want to keep the cartoon locked up in the Disney Vault because they do not like it, and are pushing that horrible Lightyear movie with Chris Evans instead.

I still remember this game including all of the different levels too. I especially remember being stuck on Mission 12: Canis-Lunis 2 though many years ago for a long time which was one of the hardest levels I've ever played since I had so much trouble at first trying to get through all of the rooms being that I had to defeat all of the enemies in the area as well as being quick with defusing all of the bombs too.

Oh man ancient memory of that level unlocked. I couldn’t figure it out! Such a weird level but in retrospect a very good one.

I was actually terrible at that one level back when I was younger, but now I'm pretty much good at it already since I know how to beat it and it's actually gotten to be one of my favorite levels in the game too even though it's still very difficult at times. I also don't know if you happen to know or not, but this game was even recently re-released on the PlayStation Store for both PS4 and PS5 since this game can now be played on those systems which is really great. I still have the disc version of this game for PS1 and it even still works great so far too, but I also decided to purchase the digital copy of this game to play on my PS4 and PS5 consoles now as well.

For me, this is one of the most disappointing games I've ever played. I was a huge fan of the _Toy Story 2_ game and the _Buzz Lightyear of Star Command_ TV show, so when I heard about this one, I was expecting more of the same, but with the show's aesthetics. I rented it back in the day, just to try it first, and found myself baffled by it essentially being a rather clunky on-foot racer. The devs could have added so much more to _TS2's_ gameplay if they just built off that foundation. The jetpack alone had huge potential for adding variety to the level design. Your partners actually having gameplay function beyond standing around is fun. Also, the extra weapons are a great idea, but his default should be the arm laser. Oh, what could have been, eh? 😮‍💨

I'm sad this game gets nowhere near as much attention as Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue. Sure, the repetitive mission structure, the fact you must play earlier levels again multiple times to unlock enough medals to continue the story, and the lack of unlockable extras can be a turn off to most people, and the fact you can't apprehend the baddies mid-chase is just ridiculous, but this game has funny voice acting headlined by Patrick Warburton, Nicole Sullivan, Adam Carolla, Stephen Furst, and Bobcat Goldthwait, some cool vehicles like a hoverboard (Buzz even Tony Hawks the board when he jumps using it) and a hover bike, as well as a sizable arsenal of weapons. Basically think a hybrid between Crash Bandicoot and Syphon Filter.

I miss this game because it brings back so much memories and souls of the childhood that i miss the old fun i played and trying to accomplish the missions till the end weather it gives with or without the bonus or specials.☺🥲 🧒🎮 & i cannot go further without make Rodney stronger , tougher , dare to blast to kill and destroy the badguys and villians & i need to find someone and tell em or maybe you that i need your real help to get it done please. 😢
