Longplay of Casper: Friends Around the World

This Casper title was made a PSX exclusive and served as inspiration for its follow-up on PS2/GCN, mainly because almost everything is rendered in 3D compared to previous games in the series. In this game, Casper goes through various places around the world with the objective of saving the Earth from Kibosh and the Ghostly Trio's evil plan. The gameplay mechanics are pretty much typical of a late 90's 3D platformer, where you just need to reach the goal while picking up items, powerups and getting rid of any enemies. In each stage there are 40 crystals to collect, and yes, these are mandatory to access the final stage/boss (Atlantis) and the good ending. The bad ending is added right after the credits roll.

This was one of 4 games I had with my PS1 when I got it Christmas morning. This, Gubble, Miss Spider’s Tea Party, and Blues Clues Big Musical. A strange lineup, but I was 4, and I played this the most! I really appreciate the longplay

I was a fan of the movie but never heard about this game until recently. To be honest I might give this game a try, even it is rather mediocre, it still has its charm
