These type of games are honestly what I enjoy the N64 for. Cruis'n USA is one of many arcade games that got ported to the Nintendo 64. There's also Cruis'n Exotica and Cruis'n World. I think everything else about the game speaks for itself.

I still own this game. Getting all the cars to their highest performance variant (beating hardest difficulty) is a pain in the neck and tedious, but the game itself is fun. I actually played the arcade version before. The N64 is a good port, and I like its music more. Difference between is pretty small other than mild censorship.

This game gets panned a lot for not looking great graphically, but this game is a lot of fun regardless. And it's one of my first N64 games growing up with the system.
@MrSuperspeedsonic2 жыл бұрын
Sincerely this game never stops feeling memorable, and it's also pretty cheap, so is perfect for N64 enthusiasts. Something I believe is fun is the censorship with the lady that greets you at the end of a circuit because while censored, she was still a porn actress, and is still fun seeing how Nintendo had zero problems with it considering their strictly rules at the time.
@LITTLE19942 жыл бұрын
They're more strict than they ever were in the '90s.

My god, playing this game having been playing World more, GOD i miss the ability to drift and peel out! But thats the fact of life having to get used to playing an older game from a franchise after getting used to a newer game's mechanics.

I wonder if there's a level in this game that I can use to teach me to drive? Not to handle the controls in front of the driver, but to help know when to stop, break, speed up, etc., especially based on lights and signs. Any towns in this game to "practice" driving in?
