For 27 years I didn't think about this game. What was the trigger? A conversation with my small son, who suggested that we should not use worms for fishing: "They may have their own family, be important and live in their own world too". I was spacing out / inside myself for a minute while he kept talking. Memories. We had great childhood guys!

I played this game all the time as a kid and loved it. Im 22 studying architecture and we were discussing soil ph and they mentioned earthworms and for some reason this game just popped up in my head after completely forgetting it for years 😂

The amount of hours I spent as a child trying to beat this game on my brother's computer, I remember the first time I finally got past the tubes level with the glass submarine, I felt like a demigod for a whole week.

Reminds me of Sonic 3. Circus style level where you have to jump on these drums to bounce. Here I am jumping on one particular drum, hard as fuck to get through a small space. Turns out, on this one, you press up 🤦♂️

Earthworm Jim (1994) is one of the most greatest video games of all time due to it's wacky, zany, bizarre, encentric, comedic, quirky, surreal, visual, and edgy gameplay, graphics, and levels. It was decent. To this day I still play it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍😎💯👍

i couldn't finish that sub ride either until years later where i found out that you can connect your sub to a little valve in the wall and end up with 99 seconds of air (if i remember it right) Edit: it is 99 seconds, it's in the video, i didnt have to try and remember it, haha

The humor in the game was a big part of its appeal. It was a fun game all the way across the board with great one liners. It was a challenge too because in those days, game over meant go back to start son.

I had never beaten this game as a kid, BUT when i had entered my early 30's - i remembered my child giving me some important advice. In order to beat this game, you would need to stop thinking like a human, and start thinking as a worm. My son beaten the game when he was 10.

My fiance and I were already on a nostalgia binge and I had told him that Mr. Bennett voices "one of the egg snatchers from 'Land Before Time' and he was the voice of the broccoli leader from Powerpuff Girls. I had this on my PC. I was probably no older than six or seven. Don't think I ever got through the first level but I could see the level names in a drop down menu. Have to say, Buttville's design is not what my six year old self expected.

almost a whole year I think for us to finish this way back childhood years. we were so invested on it that the ending was a bit disappointing yet funny as compared to super mario, mortal kombat, and donkey kong were the endings were satisfying. but this game is nostalgic!

As a kid with my family, we would go to a shopping mall, and always stop at one specific store there. At this store my favourite section was the toys one, where, there would also the recent gaming consoles being displayed - I remember watching this on a tiny tube television and thinking it was so great and that i wanted it (i would not realize slangs, vulgar/etc stuffs clearly all the time as a kid, so I don't know what I would think of it now, because I never had a PS1, thus, also the chance to play this game).
