This is a re-recording of Enter The Matrix, it's in 720p60fps and in correct aspect ratio (4:3). The previous one was recorded with composite cables in 30fps and stretched to widescreen. It was also recorded with my first recording device, Hauppauge, which caused video glitches so a lot of the old video is very shaky making it unbearable to watch. This version is also an hour faster and it's recorded by Spazbo4 since I don't own an Xbox and only the Xbox is capable of 720p output. It features both Niobe and Ghost's story. I think Spazbo4 will have something more to say about this game so I invite him to reply to this comment Previous recording can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGapc32Jdrl9Y8k

Oh man this game brings back so many memories of pure joy and anger from playing on the hardest difficulty. I remember figuring out how to enter the cheat codes in the game which was actually really complicated to do cause it wasn’t just simply going to a section of the menu to input the cheats like most games. It was almost like you had to actually hack the game in order to input the cheat codes. I remember using the infinite health with infinite ammo and I think a code for infinite slow motion but I can’t remember that last one. After doing it I would spend hours just staying in one spot fighting endless waves of enemies that would constantly respond as long as you remained in the same spot and I would either just go full on hand to hand combat in either real time or slow motion or do a shoot out leaping from side to side in slow motion or jumping backwards in slow motion. Idk why I was so entertained to just spend hours on each level in one area of those levels letting enemies spawn over and over again before finally getting bored and then beating the level only to do it again in the next level for hours on end. That game was ahead of its time for hand to hand combat and the two player vs mode that let you fight against another person and for me an my buddies it would get really intense. As a young kid losing to my friends or them losing to me while playing that game would cause us not to talk to each other for a week or two thats how heated and intense it would get. Such underrated game during that era of gaming without question.
@deeward2832 жыл бұрын
Maybe with the release of the new matrix movie will be enough incentive for Microsoft Xbox or Sony PlayStation to collaborate with the original game developers to remaster this Gem of a game. It got terrible reviews back in the day but I never understood it was such a good game and other then the max Payne series during that time only this game really pushed the edge perfectly when it came to using slow motion combat in games that was pioneered by max Payne. I originally thought this game came out at the same time as the first max Payne game but it actually came out with the second max Payne game. I doubt it will happen but maybe we’ll get remaster for this game one day and if there’s big enough demand from dedicated fan base someone could start a petition and get Signatures that will be sent to the games developers as well as Sony and Microsoft which could get ball moving in the right direction.

My thoughts exactly dude!! After beating the game and figuring out how to activate cheat codes (which was not simple to do when it came to entering cheat codes for that game) I would spend hours on end in one spot of a level with infinite health, ammo, and I think infinite slow motion but I can’t remember fully if I did use a infinite slow motion cheat. Anyways I would just get into endless shootouts and hand to hand combat situations with enemies and always have fun doing it until I would get bored on that level and then move on to the next level and literally do it all over again😂😂. I could never get enough of using the slow motion feature in that game whether I was fighting or shooting at enemies it was always fun. I played that game on the original Xbox and I didn’t even know until very recently that I came out on PlayStation but I’m sure it was equally as fun on there as it was on Xbox.

I remember enjoying jumping across rooftops in bullet time, but apart from that it wasn't a great game. The one I absolutely adored was Path Of Neo - which if I'm being honest was probably even worse as a game; janky, with terrible ant-enemy levels set in an Escher painting...but it let you play through the three films as Neo, it let you stop bullets, and do those insane superfast combos, and backflip kicks, and super-jumps...and I swear in my thirty years of playing games it might be the most fun I've ever had. I think I must have replayed the lobby section for about three days straight.

I cant believe they even made a short movie with famous actors for this game. I'm so glad that i played this on my childhood even though i understand nothing xd
