Damn this is hella nostalgic! i remember playing this ages ago on xbox 360 and being absolutely glued to it! i remember loving the game so much because of the odd beauty of the levels, intense parts of maps that kept me replaying the same maps over and over, (storming asgard, monster island and lost babylon), and insane sound design / music that really made for an incredibly fun experience every time i played.

I remember seeing something called Riptide GP: Renegade on Steam about a year ago, and it reminded me of something I played on Xbox 360 back when I was, like, 6 or 7 years old, but I couldn't remember what it was. Then I remembered the sound that plays on the title screen. Needless to say, I found what I was looking for.

Actually this is technically hydro thunder 3 since h20verdrive is the real hydro thunder 2, raw thrills the devs behind h20verdrive couldn't call it hydro thunder 2 due to licensing rights but had every bit of love and care going into the project you should check it out if you haven't done so already, quite the masterpiece. It came out in 2009 on arcade cabinets but can be ran on modern PC hardware/laptops today using technoparrot or j-config. Honestly j- config is the way to go I've played it all the way through on that maxing out every boat with an Xbox one controller since there's a leveling system in the game and it's super smooth performance wise. No issues with audio either.

Man hydro thunder is one of the fan favorite games so far to the entire us and even other countries and it's still a good game today just wish they brought it back on Nintendo switch or the other consoles
